This sensor module is made using BMP180, a high performance, ultra-low power digital barometric pressure sensor manufactured by Bosch Sensortec. It is a commonly used sensor in advanced mobile devices like smart phones, tablets and sports devices. It can be easily interfaced with a microcontrollor unit through I2C interface.
