Last January, Nvidia and Asus came up with a product that may change everything. Now the tablet in question has been identified as the new Asus Memo 370T which is actually an upgraded version of the 7-inch stylus-supported Memo tablet Asus debuted at CES 2011.

The then showcased tablet ran on Honeycomb and utilized a dual-core Qualcomm 8260-1.2Ghz CPU, while the much awaited 370T will come with Ice Cream Sandwich and houses a Nvidia Tegra 3,even though the actual speed of the precessor has not yet been confirmed.

The 370T is expected to come with 1GB of RAM and at least 16GB of storage. It is also expected to host a 1,280×800-pixel IPS screen and hits the typical-for-a-7-inch-tablet weight of 0.88 pound.

Other details include a Micro-USB port, a microSD card reader, and a Micro-HDMI port.It will also feature the same great 8-megapixel camera found on the Transformer Prime.

The arrival of the 370T now shows that performance doesn’t necessarily require a huge price tag. Though it is expected cause some stir in tablet prices later this year, it is also expected to come up strong is another field-Gaming. However the idea of combining the two words ‘Tegra 3’ and ‘low cost’ in one tablet does seem like nice direction for the tablet market to turn to.
