    I have found that SR in SR Flip Flop stands for Set, Reset
    D in D Flip Flop stands for Delay
    T in T Flip Flop stands of Toggle….

    then What is the significance of JK in JK flip flop ?

    Most of the texts and articles says that J and K have no other significance expect that they are adjacent letters in English alphabets….. But actually those letters have significance…. It was named in the honor of Jack Kilby, an engineer at Texas Instruments who invented the integrated circuit in 1958.
